Come, my love

I long for the day when we two shall be one,
when the dream of the ages has finally come.

How I have waited to take you to myself,
longed to be with you and share true wealth.

I called you "beloved" before you knew me,
loved you forever and oh, so truly.

You are my beloved, my darling and dear,
oh, how I desire to have you near.

You are the apple of my loving heart's eye,
and you've a beauty and grace that none can deny.

For you've made yourself ready to join me above,
and I long to call out, "Come, join me my love".
