My Hope

I have a hope bright and true,
and I long to share it with you.

A savior who died,
for my sin crucified.

He did not stay in the grave,
when his life he so lovingly gave.

But from the dead he arose,
when to save us he chose.

For his life he laid down,
that God's grace may abound.

If you'll open your heart,
a new life you can start.

For he rose it is true,
for both me and for you.

If you'll ask him today,
call his name as you pray.
