A Prayer

I long for the day,
when together we will pray.

A prayer from our heart,
that from each other we'll never part.

A prayer of heart felt truth,
that to each other we will always be true.

A prayer to last our whole life long,
that in His care we will have a love thats strong.

A love that will last through the ages,
and overcome the fears and the rages.

A love that will sustain us when we are apart,
for it will fill, and keep for one another, each heart.

It is true, such a love is possible, such a love is true,
for I already feel just such a love in my heart for you.
